Well,
as you can see, I have finally managed to get this page up and
running. Just for all those curious people out there, the image
to the left is of me, so now all of you know what I, aka. Ameniatha,
look like, now with an updated photo taken in July 2008.
Sooooo...... where to begin. I was born in Denmark, and moved
to South Africa when I was three. I stayed there for twenty years,
during which I finished school, met a wonderful guy called Jan
(whom I married), and decided to move back to Denmark. I have
two boys, Rene (13) and Andreas (4), they keep me quite busy most
of the time when I am not keeping all my other pokers aglow...heh.
We came back to South Africa in 2006...sofar the best decision
ever...I love being back.
I am 36 years old, and have really experienced a lot, both good and
bad, in my life. Like most other people I have my likes and dislikes,
and to make it easier for you to get to know me and what I am
about I have drawn up this list of well, all about me : *grins*

Black, Dark purple and Wine red, and lately pastels like
pink, mint and sandy brown. |
| Favorite clothing: |
My jeans and my DocMarten boots and shoes (I am now the proud owner of 6 pairs), anything practical, these
days I am leaning towards a more bohemian style that defines my inner self. |
| What I like to read: |
Actually I am not choosey, I will read most anything . Anything
about witchcraft and Wicca, have to study..... |
| Music that I love: |
Depeche Mode, Fields of the Nephilim, Massive Attack, Morrissey,
The Smiths, Dead Can Dance, Moonspell, Sirrah, and ambient
Trance like Delerium and other similar music, oh and Swedish songstress Lisa Ekdahl. |
| Best movies that I have seen: |
Latest favs are Apocalyptica, Kingdom of Heaven, and local
fair like the movie Faith Like Potatoes. Of course the Lord of the Rings trilogy... movies with a fantasy or esoteric twist as well... heh. |
| Favorite time of day: |
Nighttime, specially when the moon is full.. |
| Favorite seasons: |
Winter in Europe, because at Christmas time all the streets
in town are decorated, and it gives a really warm feeling.
I also love the sound of snow beneath my feet. Summer in South
Africa, because the sun is really great, and the beach is always fantastic. |
| Favorite vacation spots: |
Jeffrey's Bay for the surf and sunshine, The Drakensburg
for majestic scenery and breathtaking mountains, Northern
Natal for all the historical battle routes, and the Western
Cape-Province for the best camping sites. (all being sites
in South Africa, of course) And Sweden for Kayaking on the
lakes. |
| Places where I like to clear my thoughts: |
While walking in the forest, while sitting on the beach,
or in my garden when the moon is full. |
| My hobbies: |
Sketching( portraits) and drawing fantasy/pagan things.
Reading, working on my own fantasy novel, and writing Poetry.
Html-design......I really find it challenging and fun. I also like
baking and sewing......seriously! Drawing has now become freelance
work. I also do translation work on freelance basis, as well
as webdesign...yay, I have progressed beyond it being a hobby. |
